Conotoxia Ltd. offers its trading platforms free of charge; all you need to do is to register and download it.

In order to open an account at Conotoxia, all you have to do is to register with us and provide necessary documents. During the registration process, you will be asked a few questions that will allow us to assess whether you possess the necessary knowledge and experience.

The procedure for opening a trading account is very simple and takes just a few minutes. This is how long it takes on average to fill in the online registration form for the Private Account and to upload the necessary documents. As soon as the verification procedure for the Private Account is completed, the process of opening a trading account will not take more than 1 minute. However, please note that the verification procedure can take from 30 minutes to a few days, depending on whether the documents you submit when applying to open an account meet our internal requirements.

With Conotoxia Ltd. you may open as many accounts as you wish, we do not set any limits.

Currently, Conotoxia Ltd. offers accounts in 4 currencies: EUR, USD, GBP and PLN.

At Conotoxia Ltd. you may open an account with as little as 100 EUR, 100 USD, 100 GBP, or 400 PLN.

Please note that leverage depends on the type of the client categorization; therefore, for our:

All our trading accounts have set margin calls at 100% and stop-out at 50%.

Please note that hedging is allowed at all our trading accounts.

For all our accounts, the maximum level of open/pending orders is 2,000.

On our Basic STP and Standard STP accounts, there is no minimum trade volume per month. However, on our Algo Trading STP and Advanced STP accounts, the maximum volume per month is set at 2,000,000 USD.

On our Basic STP and Standard STP accounts, the commission per 100,000 USD volume on FX pairs is 4.00 USD. However, on our Algo Trading STP and Advanced STP, the commission is 3.50 USD per 100,000 USD volume on FX pairs.

Basic STP – is 0.01 lot

Standard STP – is 0.1 lot

Algo Trading STP – is 0.01 lot

Advanced STP – is 0.5 lot

The accounts of retail clients are protected against negative balances, as established by ESMA. This means that you can never lose more than funds invested. On the other hand, Conotoxia Ltd. is not obliged to have this functionality for professional client accounts, so transactions can lead to account deficits. However, as we treat all accounts in the same way, we offer negative balance protection for all our clients.

Transaction fees mostly consist of spread, commission and/or swap. They vary according to the product class (currency pair/indices/goods) as well as the product itself. On the cTrader platform, when entering information about a given product, you will find details of all fees related to the given asset.

When using the services of Conotoxia Ltd., you can make a deposit preferably by bank transfer or the currency wallet, or you can deposit using Dotpay.

Conotoxia Ltd. does not charge any transfer fees for deposits. However, your correspondent bank may charge you according to their own fee structure.

Conotoxia Ltd. does not accept any deposits made via third parties. Payments can only be made from a bank account that is created on the same person as the one assigned to your Forex trading account.

Deposits made by bank transfer usually take 1-5 working days before they are credited to your account. However, it is important to remember that all options of deposits are still subject to verification procedures, which may cause a delay in crediting funds to your trading account.

Express deposits are provided by e-wallet at Conotoxia Pay or through Dotpay. However, they are subject to additional commissions. Please remember that deposits made by express payments are also subject to verification procedures, which may result in a delay in crediting funds to your trading account.

Currently, at Conotoxia Ltd., you can make deposits in EUR, USD, GBP and PLN.

Our bank account details can be found on our website under the section Funding methods or once you log in to your account, in the right-hand side under section Deposits and Withdrawals.

Conotoxia Ltd. does not charge any fees for the execution of transfers and does not mark-up any possible transaction costs charged by banks. As a result, banks may charge customers of Conotoxia Ltd. and/or Conotoxia Ltd. for transfers. If such transaction costs apply, they are transparently deducted from the value of payments of Conotoxia Ltd. customers by Conotoxia Ltd. and/or Conotoxia Ltd. customer banks, whichever is used.

Withdrawal requests are processed between 8:00–16:00 CET time. Any requests received after the indicated time will be processed during the next business day. Withdrawals ordered during Cypriot Public Holidays will be processed during the next business day.

Funds can only be withdrawn to a bank account belonging to the same user, as your trading account is subject to AML regulations. However, if you provide a sufficient document stating that the bank account you have used for the deposit is closed and provide us with a bank statement from a new bank account, then you will be able to make a withdrawal to your new bank account.

Withdrawals made by bank wire transfer usually take 1-5 working days to reach your account.

In order to process your deposit made with a wire transfer, we do not require any additional documents, as the payment confirmation is being provided to us by our bank.

However, in case you make a deposit using Dotpay we require a payment confirmation in order to process your transaction.

Yes, you can. Please note that first, you will have to provide us:

• dokumenty tożsamości współwłaściciela konta bankowego (paszport/dowód osobisty i dokument potwierdzający miejsce zamieszkania).
• Bank account co-owner’s identification documents (Passport/ID and proof of residence)

Please note that the funds must be returned to the same bank account from which they have been deposited.

In order to make a deposit using a currency wallet, first, you need to top it up (with any amount) with your bank account in order to activate this channel to deposit funds.

Currently, you may withdraw your funds using bank wire transfer. However, to do so, you will be asked to provide us with a bank statement with your name, surname, address and account number.

Please keep in mind that this may be due to the additional fees charged by your bank or a correspondent one.

Following the article 60(b) of the AML Law, we are obliged to ask our clients to provide documents allowing us to verify the source of funds in case the amount reaches or exceeds the threshold specified by the law.

As a source of funds, you can provide us with:

• An employment agreement
• A payslip
• Tax declaration for the previous year if the current one is not yet available
• Poof of inheritance
• Proof of received dividends
• Proof of sale of property
• Proof of savings

In such a case, we will be obliged to reject your deposit, and the funds will be sent back to the account we have received them from.

In order to verify and approve your account, the following documents are required:

• Proof of Identity

  A coloured copy of your valid passport or other official identification document issued by your local authorities (identity card, etc.). Please note the document must contain your full name, an issue and/or expiry date, place and date of birth, your signature and a photo.

  Please note:

  • all four corners of the document must be visible
  • no information should be covered or edited
  • In case of a passport, the page with a photo is required
  • In case of a photo-card ID, please provide both sides fully visible.
• Proof of Residence (residential address)

  A recent utility bill (electricity, gas, water, phone, Internet, TV), bank account or credit card statement or Local Authority Tax Bill, dated within the last 6 months, confirming your registered address. Please note that we do not accept mobile phone bills, screenshots or any proof of address that only provides a P.O.Box.

  In addition to the above, we require to provide us with a Tax Identification Number.

The scanned documents should be uploaded to your profile (Your Profile - Your Data - Documents) or emailed to [email protected]

As a regulated company, we are obliged to ensure that all the clients` data are up to date, for this purpose, when any of your document expires we will ask you to provide us with a new one.

Pursuant to Article 62 (1) of the Prevention and Suppression of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Law of 2007-2019, Conotoxia Ltd. is required to verify customer identification.

The verification of customer identification is based on documents such as an ID card or passport in accordance with Annex IV, point 2 (b) of the Directive of 2020 regarding the Prevention of Money Laundering.

To ensure the security of our clients` data, Conotoxia Ltd. has implemented all possible safeguards in accordance with the recommendations of the Personal Data Protection Regulation 2016/679. Conotoxia Ltd. has appointed an adequate person for the position of Data Protection Officer supervising the implementation of appropriate technical and legal solutions. In addition, Conotoxia Ltd. uses personal data encryption, which protects all our clients` data.

You need to keep in mind that if you provided us with documents outside the business hours (9:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m. Cy Time), then your documents will be verified on the following business day.

• If you are renting your house, then you can provide us with the rental agreement stamped and signed by your landlord along with the utility bill on the name of your landlord.
• If you are still living with your parents, then you can provide us with your birth certificate together with the utility bill on the name of one of your parents.

We will make a few attempts to gather the necessary documents. However, if you fail to provide us with the necessary documents, we will be forced to terminate our business relationship with you.

Please note that all our clients by default are categorized as Retail clients according to the Client Categorization Policy; however, you may make a writing request to change your categorization either for Professional or Experienced Client (for Polish residents only).

Clients may request to be treated as Professionals provided that at least two of the following criteria are met:

• the client has carried out transactions, in significant size, on the relevant market at an average frequency of 10 transactions per quarter over the last four quarters,
• the size of the client`s financial instruments portfolio, defined as including cash deposits and financial instruments exceeds 500,000 EUR.
• the client works or has worked in the financial sector for at least one year on a professional position, which requires knowledge of the transactions or services envisaged. The clients defined above may waive the benefit of the detailed rules of conduct only if the following procedure is followed:
• the client must submit a statement in writing to the Company that they wish to be treated as Professional clients, either in general or in respect of a particular investment service or transaction, or type of transaction or product,
• the Company must give the client a clear written warning of the protections and investor compensation rights they may lose,
• the client must state in writing, in a separate document from the contract, that they are aware of the consequences of losing such protections. Retail clients who reside permanently on the territory of Poland in order to be classified as Experienced Retail Clients need to fulfil the following two conditions:

  Retail Client concluded in the last 24 months:

  • CFD opening transactions with a nominal value of equivalent of at least 50,000 EUR* in PLN each, with a frequency of at least 10 opening transactions per quarter over the last four quarters or
  • CFD opening transactions with a nominal value of equivalent of at least 10,000 EUR* in PLN each, with a frequency of at least 50 opening transactions per quarter over the last four quarters or
  • CFD opening transactions with a total nominal value of at least 2,000,000 EUR* in PLN, with at least 40 opening transactions per quarter in the last four quarters

  Retail Client has adequate knowledge of derivatives, including CFDs, supported by:

  • a) appropriate professional certificates, in particular: Investment Advisor, Securities Broker, Chartered Financial Analyst, Financial Risk Manager, Professional Risk Manager, ACI Dealing Certificate, ACI Diploma, or a specialist field of study or
  • completion of a minimum of 50 hours of training in derivatives, including CFDs, confirmed by obtaining relevant certificates or confirmations issued on the basis of verified knowledge by relevant training providers, within the last 12 months or
  • confirmation that the client performs or carried out activities or work or has performed worked on the basis of an employment contract or other contractual relationship that is the basis for performing the function, for at least a year in a position that requires professional knowledge regarding transactions in CFDs or other derivatives.
  • Equivalent amounts expressed in euros referred to in the item 1 shall be determined using the average euro exchange rate announced by the National Bank of Poland on the day preceding the date of submission of the application by the retail customer in which the exchange rate was announced;

Yes, Conotoxia Ltd. offers to its clients 50h of webinars, over 365 pages on financial markets included in our e-books as well as more than 70 instructional videos. After completing the course, you will be asked to take a test, and once you pass it, Conotoxia Ltd. will issue a certificate.
